About the CCYI

The George Melendez Wright Climate Change Youth Initiative (CCYI) provides opportunities for young people to work on diverse issues related to climate change and its effects in national parks.

Park Internships

The George Melendez Wright Climate Change Youth Initiative (CCYI) manages paid internships in which undergraduate or beginning graduate students work for approximately 12 weeks on projects in research, interpretation, park operations, policy development, or other fields.

Research Fellowships

The George Melendez Wright Climate Change Youth Initiative’s (CCYI) fellowships support new and innovative research by graduate students that is relevant to managing climate change impacts in US National Parks.

The next batch of application materials will be available in Autumn 2013.
